Fresno, CA – February 10, 2026 – Fresno Madera Farm Credit (FMFC) announced today that it will distribute $15.1 million in cash patronage to its member-borrowers. The distribution, equivalent to 0.75% of each member's average loan balance for 2025, will be issued in mid-March.
"This patronage reflects a simple principle: once we have secured the Association's financial strength, the earnings go back to the members who created them," said Jeff Yribarren, FMFC Board Chairman.
The patronage distribution continues FMFC's commitment to returning value to its member-owners. Over the past five years, the association has returned more than $80 million to the farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses it serves across Fresno and Madera counties.
"Agriculture in our region is facing headwinds, and we understand the pressures our members are navigating," said Keith Hesterberg, FMFC President and CEO. "Our job is to remain a stable, reliable partner—and to make sure that when we perform well, our members share in that directly."
As a member-owned cooperative and part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, FMFC is dedicated exclusively to agricultural lending. The association's financial strength allows it to continue supporting members through market cycles while returning earnings that exceed operational and capital needs.
